Our FOCUS

The 54 Foundation has partnered with several organizations to help ensure
we adequately prepare and support athletes as they transition in their lives!

Our Priorities Partners

Boston University Research CTE Center

The 54 Foundation is partnering with the BU CTE Center because unfortunately, as a football player, Ekom dealt with the injuries that are a part of the sport, including concussions. We believe that the work done by Boston University is essential to understanding how concussions can affect current athletes, as well as making sport as safe as possible for future generations of athletes.

Athlete Transition Services

The 54 Foundation is partnering with ATS to bridge the gap between the amount of funding and resources for the athletic departments of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Predominantly White Institutions (PWIs).

Reflect

The 54 Foundation is partnering with Reflect to help subsidize the cost of therapy as finances should not be a barrier to services. Our goal is to improve mental wellness one person at a time.
